I love this saying and it is something I try to remind myself of often. I am a micro-worrier. I worry about my kids ALL the time, I worry what others think of me, I worry about things that I’ve said, I worry about how much I worry 🤪.....you get my drift. Sometimes I remind myself to think of the 5 year rule. Am I going to remember this in 5 years? If not, then it’s not worth worrying about and it’s not a big deal. Last night was so much fun! We had face-painting, fancy dress, pumpkin-decorating, mask-making and scary ghost-making. The children all looked fantastic and were so lovely and happy. There were a few bottles of fizz bought and definitely a few G&T’s so the parents were pretty happy too. Not a bad way to spend Halloween!
